Semi-automatic magnetization

If I set the magnetization to “automatic”, then ALL documents end up in magnetization.
When magnetizing to “manual”, you in turn have to push all documents manually to magnetize them.
I would like those documents for which a valid magnetization profile is available to be automatically magnetized and the others not at all. For these, we would collect the necessary metadata via stamp actions.
Stamping is also much easier to handle and easier to do for less experienced users.

This feature has been available since version 6.15.22.

In some cases, you can help yourself with the topic by using document types that have no or only predefined characteristics.
example:
Document type “General” is initially linked to a very global characteristic such as “file extension = PDF; DOCX; etc.” and is not further provided with features.
After that, all documents should “rush through” for now. You can then manually magnetize the desired documents again in the file and then set more specific rules, such as “invoice”, and also enrich features there.
My information is that AMAGNO generally uses the profile with the highest possible “data density” and would therefore prefer the “invoice”, if features are attached, to the “General” document type.
An AMAGNO employee may be able to improve this again.

Pentoworks: Does the paragraph with magnetization of the file extension describe a magnetization rule that is already available or rather a desired scenario for the desired feature?
Pentoworks
Rüdiger Marx: That should be done now. In magnetization, you can switch to the metadata view and then use the file extension to magnetize the document type.

Pentoworks: Thanks for that tip!
