Standard selection for internal Amagno links

I would like to be able to make a standard selection when I click on an internal Amagno link, so that, for example, the linked document will always be opened in Acrobat Reader in the future.
background:
A customer's DATEV accounting system currently stores the document link (internal Amagno link) for the booking. If employees now want to access the original document directly from DATEV Accounting, they are asked each time for the desired view (preview, PDF, original). With over 70,000 documents per year, this is a very laborious process.

As a user, I would like to be able to set a standard with which software I would like to open the document from the Amagno link.
I want to avoid the fact that as soon as I click on the Amagno link, there is no question whether I want to open the PDF document in Amagno or in the PDF Reader, for example.
I would like to be able to always open all documents with Amagno - always with the software (PDF Reader - Excel - Word) - or whether I would like to keep the question.

When calling Amagno documents from an external system (e.g. Datev), a selection window appears each time a document is called up, which must be confirmed by clicking on Amagno. It would be nice if you could set here so that every document call from the external system opens the document in Amagno.

Thanks for the request and feedback. This is where various requirements conflict. There are many users who explicitly want the selection, e.g. to switch to the document in Amagno. Here, there would be the option for users to receive an option in the first display of the selection, such as (roughly speaking) “Automatically behave this way for all future calls.”

Jens Büscher: That's the right approach. Here I can decide at any time that I want to open it in a standardized way. A feature to deactivate the set standard would then have to be included in the user settings. The user could then return to the individual query.

I had already set this issue here last year. It would be nice if it was implemented in version 6 at least.

Sounds like a wish that was made 2 years ago (possibly before feature portal).
Regardless of the relationship in which I send the document link (e.g. stamp event) - at the moment I can only open it with constant confirmation - this is consistently disruptive when working in workflows with occasional participants who are notified via e-mail with a document link!

Default value, which is always used, would certainly make sense.
We have also commissioned the interface to Datev @Daniel Klebe Is it also possible to leaf through the receipts from Datev? Or do you have to click on the paper clip for each document?

Tim Dumke: Each click on the paper clip opens the desired document via a link in Amagno or a PDF reader. It is not possible to leaf through the documents.
Tip: If you do not use the DATEV applications online, you must also order the DATEV external connector to ensure that documents are retrieved from Datev.
