Merge multiple files (multiple PDFs into one PDF)

Merge/combine documents in magnetization

When magnetizing, merge two documents together. Example: Invoice + time sheet imported individually by email as a PDF. These can only be put together after magentization. But that would be helpful beforehand!

Thanks for the input. There are already suggestions for merging documents. However, it is important to assess that when documents are “merged”, the “original” status is lost - from a legal point of view alone. However, I would shift this discussion to the other request. There are currently three wishes in here:
- Automatic linking of files during magnetization
- Merge PDFs
- Automatic recognition when it has not been recognized (which in itself is difficult, because how should Amagno decide when something should be recognized or corrected in the magnetization and when should it be automatically waved through if not recognized?).

The approach actually sounds like it could also be used to link e-mail and attachments. We spend hours per day magnetizing unstructured email attachments (e.g. attachments to orders).
It would be better for email attachments: To add an option to the magnetization rules “If no magnetization profile fits, then magnetize as an email attachment without any further features.”
However, this would require that it be known during magnetization that it is an attached document.
At the moment, I have the impression that while applying the magnetization rules, it is not considered at all whether it is a standalone document or an email attachment.
After magnetization, the documents appear linked, but no reference to the email is possible while the attachments are magnetized.

Rüdiger Marx: That's right. It is currently only linked in Amagno. There is no more specific reference, e.g. whether it was an e-mail attachment.

That would also be very helpful for us.

That would also be very helpful for us. Delivery notes are often difficult or impossible to magnetize. A link to the magnetized calculation with an unmagnetized pdf would be more than helpful.

I'd even appreciate merging PDFs. Some suppliers send us individual PDFs for invoices and payment slips. However, for magnetization, we need this in a single PDF. So far, this has been solved with a third-party tool outside AMAGNO.

That is exactly what I needed right now.

Pentoworks has now completed the “PDF Processor” tool, which allows you to separate multi-page PDFs at will or combine several PDFs to form a document with several pages. Please send any questions to mail@sc-info.de.

It would be important to be able to choose what happens with the document. If, for example, a reminder flutters into the house, I would like to “tacker” it behind the invoice. However, the invoice should then not go through the entire billing workflow anew as a new document...
Jens Büscher
Sven Zablowsky: For this, it would be a good idea to link the documents in. The documents then visually link to each other and this does not affect the workflow.

It would be important for us that the feature is then also available via REST API, as we would like to use the interface to “attach” documents to existing invoices!
