Bar code recognition/readout in magnetization
Michael Lüpkes
It would be desirable if Amagno could read data from bar codes during magnetization to fill features.
For example, we create Word reports (document type: report), which go through a complete Amagno workflow. These reports are then summarized with attachments and attachments in a joint PDF file, which is also stored in Amagno (document type: ready-to-send report). The document type recognition from/by AMAGNO is purely visual based on the title page. The storage of conditionals (if report AND PDF then ready-to-send report) is not supported. Alternative solution: Apply a barcode stamp to the PDF, which contains the document type, and let the document type recognition take place via this barcode.

In this context, it would also be desirable that further services (actions) could be included in the magnetization. For example, we have provided a service which reads the billing data from a QR Code (new standard Swiss invoice from 07/2020) and is intended to incorporate this into the feature. Instead of a separate stamp action, this service should be called up automatically during or, if necessary, before magnetization.

Stephan Kohnke: Thank you. That is another requirement. Please create your own story for this. However, AMAGNO 5.9 allows you to call an external URL before stamping, which can be used to enrich freshly magnetized documents.
